This cancer attacks the lymphocytes, a type of white blood cells and is characterized by swollen lymph nodes, fever and weight decreased.
There are several types of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and categorized based on the speed of growth and the type of lymphocytes are affected. Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma is more deadly than Hodgkin's lymphoma and is estimated to have killed more than 20,000 people in 2010.
